This large, incredibly detailed, beautiful 3d coin, which was designed by a Marine veteran artist, pays tribute to the unofficial U.S. Navy certificate award named, The Order of the Ditch, which is awarded to sailors who have transited the Panama Canal. It recognizes the unique experience of passing through this historic waterway, which connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Standing 3.00" tall and 2.36" wide this design is an amazing work of art that features dual plating of gold and black nickel mixed with eighteen different enamel colors on the front and eight enamel colors on the back blended together which forms this stunning design. The back of this coin has a space where you can personalize this piece for yourself, a friend or loved one, by engraving a message in the large, blank space.
